Dual Enrollment

Steps for TRANSITIONING FROM DUAL ENROLLMENT TO DEGREE-SEEKING:
  1. Readmission applications are no longer required for dual enrollment student who are graduating high school and are transitioning to regular degree-seeking status at PSC.
  2. An Academic Advisor at PSC will change the student's program objective for the upcoming term in which student is registering. Inactivating the dual enrollment major and activating the student's primary degree-seeking program objective.
  3. If the student has not provided proof of Florida residency documentation, they will need to go online to our website at www.polk.edu, go to the Future Student link, then to the Admissions link, then to Admission Registrar Forms there they will find the link for the Florida Residency Affidavit. Students who were dual enrolled will need to change their residency status to claiming Florida Residency.
  4. Students may register one term without their high school transcript. The second term registration will be prevented if the high school transcript has not been received.
